I got the 2000 Haynes Manual for a '99 TJ and it's fine. All you need
is exploded pics of the inline 6 (same as yours) and the
axles/gears/transmission. The wiring diagrams/instructions aren't that
great, but a monkey could wire these vehicles anyway. I got the Haynes
book for $6 on Ebay too, saving about $95 on the Jeep shop manual.
Between that and Google searches, I can't see spending the $100 on the
manual, but more power to those who can and get more good out of it.

I got the 2000 Haynes Manual for a '99 TJ and it's fine. All you need

I get the factory manual for each car I buy.They pay for themselves over and
over.All the infomation is detailed in one place. They make replaceing things
like heater cores and case seals a lot easier.I just got the Jeep manual and
its worth it. When you are done with the manual you can put it on E-bay.
