Cherokee Haynes Manual
I just recently bought a 2001 Cherokee Sport and decided to buy a Haynes
manual for it. The only manual the parts store had was from 1984-2000, but I bought it anyway. Should I take it back and look for a 2001 book, or is the 2000 model pretty much the same as the 2001? Thanks for the advice, Sean -- \___/ Sean Keplinger |o,o| skeplin at one dot net \/ ) http://spookyworld.dnsalias.com ----mm----------------------------------- |
Re: Cherokee Haynes Manual
Take it back and get the "Factory Sevice Manual".
That'd be your best bet :-) Sean Keplinger wrote: > I just recently bought a 2001 Cherokee Sport and decided to buy a Haynes > manual for it. Re: Cherokee Haynes Manual
Personally, I think you shoudl take it back even if the 2001 and 2000 are
identical, which I think they are not. What you really need to do any service on your Jeep is the factory service manual. It costs a bit more than the Haynes costs, but the Haynes is not even suitable for wiping your ass. The pages offer very little useful information, so you can't fix anything; and the pages are too rough to use as toilet paper. Take it back and get a FSM. It'll cost you more, but you will quickly see the value.
