Cherokee Bearing Hub aftermarket
I'm in the process of R&R the bearing hubs on my 90 4WD Cherokee. I
found that all the aftermarket parts vary from the part removed in
that they are not as long and do not have a secondary seal around the
shaft. What's the verdict on these parts? Is it worth getting an
original (probably 2x price).

Probably....
Some things are just better OEM. In a few cases, you actually 'do' get
what you pay for.

Re: Cherokee Bearing Hub aftermarket
Sounds to me like you're looking at the wrong part. Maybe some
might sell a hub without the seal, but size wise it's got to be the
same, as pictured at:
http://www.off-road.com/jeep/cheroke...2_feb/bearing/ I would trust
this seller:

Re: Cherokee Bearing Hub aftermarket
The part fits, and the bearings are sealed. 90 was a change year and
the extra seal may have been dropped the next year (I know they did
change the ABS in 91).
