Don't waste your money.
Just tell the inspector that when the light came on, you checked the engine
like it said, and found the engine was still there.
I usually just cover it with electrical tape.

Some folks just put the gas cap back on.
Too bad no year, make, model mentioned, as some just come on to tell you
to go spend money to have someone turn the light off. Others will let
you pull fault codes to see what the problem is.
