manufacturers realized it, that's why manuals are so hard to find.

Ask GM. They won't put a car on the showroom floor unless it's an
auto. If you want a 6-speed, be prepared to order it. At least Ford
has the right idea with Mustangs - probably 3/4 of their stock are
manuals. That might explain the end of the Camaro/Firebird.
As for Corvettes, once it's a few years old, you can't give one away
that's an automatic. Probably explains why the OP is spamming
newsgroups with off topic ads trying to get rid of his.
