Folks from dry areas have it, wet areas don't seem to from what I have
read over the years here.
It is a dust collector to help keep the paper one from clogging too fast
I think.

the paper filter. I found it at a O'Reilly parts store I do not think it was
a Fram. Look at the part # on the old one and that is what I used. I drive
in dusty situations and wanted the best I could get. Don
