Brake bleeding - '96 XJ w/ ABS
Any special thing I should know about bleeding my ABS-equipped XJ
('96)? The factory manual mentions something about the scan tool. Is this necessary for a simple flush of the brake system via bleeder screws? |

Hi Phil,
Ignition off, then depressurize the ABS accumulator. This is done by pressing down on the brake pedal HARD, 30 times: http://www.spanishtrailrovers.com/Te...bs_brakes.html Then bleed normally. Many ABS equipped vehicles require a different bleeding sequence than non ABS rigs. ---------------------------------------------------- Del Rawlins- del@_kills_spammers_rawlinsbrothers.org Remove _kills_spammers_ to reply via email.
