Re: bouncy front end
And what makes you an expert? Your trials and tribulations on your
"ONE" '97 TJ that are mostly miss leading. I should thank you Jerry,
because you're the only reason I monitor this group, it's to correct
them!

Re: bouncy front end
Well, I don't know how else to explain it, Bill - my TJ doesn't wobble
about, and the steering dampers f*ked. It's that simple. I'll replace it at
some point, but not today. And unlike in the USA which seems to let you
drive any old rust bucket on the road as long as it passes emissions, we
have a strict vehicle check every year which it passes.

Re: bouncy front end
My '97 TJ was not my first Jeep (I've owned four Jeeps, two at the
moment), and have owned seven 4x4 vehicles. I lift and specify how my
shops build custom Jeeps for a living. I'm paid to solve lift problems,
driveshaft vibration problems, steering problems, alignment issues etc.
by various organizations and do so when my techs cannot figure it out.
And you sit in your rocking chair after having run a gas station. At
"only" 57 years old, I may not be as old as you Bill but neither do I
live vicariously in the past on strictly past experiences either.
