What is your opinion of copyright laws? And posting of copyrighted
material on websites\newsgroups without the permission of the owner
of said copyright. I have noticed that from time to time in this
newsgroup, and on webpages some posters link to, turn up in the
group..

What do you feel should be done by "we" the users of this group when
copyrighted material is posted either in this group, or on links
posted to this newsgroup?

Should "we" the users report this to the respective copyright
owners, and report the user to their service provider for violating
the law, and to the appropriate law enforcement agency?

 

I plagiarize all the time, the only ones I've heard of it bothering

Believe me bill you don't have to tell me you do this consistently.

Now may I suggest you take some time to cool off, gather your
self up and think a little.

If you continue to act out like a two year old this sort of
thing could come back to bite you in the bum. You might just
upset the wrong person and well DC could find out about the
some two dozen links to copyrighted material on your website
that one can find by doing just a quick search of your posts
over the past few months, I'm sure there are more if I went back
further.

And I don't think your "Real Jeep" BS will save you there either.

report users for posting anything you don't agree with, but
if they don't agree with you they must be, i) liberal, ii) sissy,
iii) **** or all of the above?

bill I'm not making threats that I'd do this, nor would I even
consider doing so.

My adherence to copyright laws is well virtually non-existant,
fortunately for me the courts here seem to agree with my beliefs.
I'm not a hypocrite and don't tattle on people for doing things
I've done and would most likely continue to do. Can you say
the same? Personally I could care less if you go on posting
dealer service manuals in whole or in part on your web page.
My personal opinion is that considering the cost of the vehicles
new they should either be included for free with the vehicle or
provided for free online..

I was making a point bill.. Just because someone says something
you don't like you now run off and fire off abuse@ emails acting
like your the great gazoo.. Just think a bit before you keep going
on like this..

It doesn't just reflect very poorly on you, and it does a great job
there, but think before you act, someone could go and start playing
your little game, except they could go off and report you in turn..

Feel free to report me for offering you some free advice, if it
turns your crank... It won't get you very far..
