Re: Best choice for replacement lifters
Have you tried Sea Foam in your motor oil. I would do as bill has
recommended and add some Sea Foam to the oil about a 100 miles before you change it. I use it a lot on the Big diesel truck engines when I service them on my job. It's the best cleaner I have found to date. And it does all that it says, which is pretty darn good. A lot of products lay down a lot of claims but this one works. -- CJ & XJ JIMMIE VP.of The North Iowa Off-road Club "L.W. Re: Best choice for replacement lifters
Yep, tried it before last oil change. It didnt seem to help.
One of my problems being retired and living here on Maui is that I don't drive that many miles. Actually I really can't call that a problem though! I suspect the cleaners don't get a chance to really work well. Aloha and thanks to all for advice. Joe in Maui JIM LAIRD wrote: > Have you tried Sea Foam in your motor oil. Low mileage, would dictate changing oil every three months,
regardless of mileage. God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto:-------------------- http://www.----------.com/ Joe wrote: > > Yep, tried it before last oil change.
