beeper
I have a 2002 TJ sport
I would like to know where the dinger is, that goes off if you leave
your door open with the key in it. I want to put a switch to manually
turn it off, or perhaps just remove it. With the soft top there is
little chance of getting locked out!

Re: beeper
If I am reading the service manual correctly, the chime/buzzer is an
integrated part of the instrument cluster. It didn't show a way to disable
it.

Re: beeper
Pull fuse #4.
This shuts off the door switches and the beeper. The inside light still
works with the switch on the dash.

Re: beeper
There is a fuse box located on the firewall inside of the glovebox, pull
fuse #4.
