bad safety inspection karma
Does this only happen to me?
I have spend the past few nights with the jeep "studying" for the state safety and emissions test. The jeep is running great now, and I have taken care of a few odd things (like mud flaps, and the mirror that came off a while back). Last year the hazard light switch was flakey, but because of a fast tongue it passed. So last night I tear into the steering column and replace the turn signal / hazard switch, and walla all is well. Drove it around last night, and everything worked fine. Until this morning ON THE WAY to the inspection house I notice that my left turn signal indicator light on the dash is not working. What could be wrong. For some reason my front signal does not work now, the dash indicator does not work, but the rear signal does work. The entire right side works fine. What is wrong this time??? Is there anything common with the dash indicator and front signal, that is not common with the rear light? This is a 83 CJ7 Thanks for any ideas |

You're not the only one.
Three years ago I pulled into the extortion station. There was already a car inside being tested. They told me to back up against the fence. I backed up and pushed the brake pedal. The pedal went to the floor as a brake line let go. Still does not account for why the rear works, and not the front or the
dash. The column only knows "blinker on" - " blinker off" and that is working (in the rear). I have the old switch I can plug in to test that theory. "L.W. Every switch has at least six wires running from it, it must in
