It has been a long time since our money worth anything more than
the paper it's printed on. There was a time when a bill was backed by
gold or silver as these certificates indicate:

When you write a check you're pulling from your account. You're basically
complaining they wouldn't let you play the float of a day or two. Big deal.

Yes, I like the ones I put in my WK. I hear they've got a somewhat shorter
lifespan though.
