Re: Anybody using an iPod yet?

I agree! I used an Irock! transmitter for awhile with my RCA Lyra
player, but then I got a back input and it's way better. The Jeep is
just too loud for any static to be acceptable.

Re: Anybody using an iPod yet?

Thanks guys, I will definately look into a head unit with the aux input
instead of the FM. Maybe I'll still get the FM for my XJ instead of
replacing the stock head unit in that though.

Aux input is the ideal method, but I have both an iTrip and a cassette
adaptor. The iTrip (or iRock - works just as well, but requires batteries)
is pretty handy for when you travel - you can listen to your music on any
clock radio, boom box, someone else's car, home stereo, etc. Its well
worth the price tag, even if you do opt to use a direct input in your
primary car.

Re: Anybody using an iPod yet?

If you can get your hands on a stock 2003 head from a TJ (might be a trick
to get it into your CJ), you can get the adapter I got that changed the CD
changer input to an aux. input. I've used a few FM transmitters and now that
I'm "hardwired", I'll never go back.
