Also, removes tar from the bottom of your boots!!!

I paid $11 for a gallon last week. It's easier to clean up than kerosene or
oil all over the mill and floor, and a bit less flammable then Stoddard
solvent.

Or if your missus doesn't like the smell, lamp oil is cheaper and works
just as nicely for sharpening knives, etc.
