Re: ABS light ON???
When I still had ABS, my ABS check light illuminated due to road grime/tar
that had collected on the ABS sensor on the front driver's side brake
assembly. Cleaning it off with a rag and WD-40 cured it.

Did you unplug the sensor(s) and take it to the bench to work on it?
If so, I suspect the particles that collected on it were not the problem.
My BMW had those particles too, and I cleaned them in place and the problem
remains. That is, the lead was long enough that I brought the WD40 over to
the car in my attempt to clean the sensors, and could accomplish the task
without disconnecting the sensors. I need to repeat the job, but this time I
need to actually unplug the sensors at the connectors.
My ABS light will go for days without coming on, other times it will come on
within 20 of begining to roll. I once noticed the ABS light came on in
Reverse ...
