Re: 98 TJ power loss & rough idle soon after startup
Bummer, Some read after you clear the trip odometer, to read the
code from there. Then turn the ignition key to the on and off positions
(do not turn the key to the start position) within 5 seconds using this
sequence: ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON, and wait giving it time to run the onboard
diagnosis: http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/fault/ It may be worth it to
buy a code reader:

Crankcase Position Sensor failure:
