97 TJ wiper motor problem
Well my wiper motor is no longer reliable enough for me so I picked up a replacement
at a boneyard on the way. When I went to install it, I had a problem. See:
http://www.geocities.com/scott_unit_69/motors.jpg Mine is the motor on the right.
I have an early TJ, and I'm wondering if I should try to get the mounting plate
off the wrecked donor '01 TJ. I'm thinking I may have an odd mounting method on
my Jeep. I'll post the pictures of the wrecked donor later. It's a sad sight...
Thanks for any responses to this thread. I hope this info on early TJ wiper motors
will help someone else who searches Google for this info later.

Re: 97 TJ wiper motor problem
I think I would go with a rebuilt like Earle, suggests. If your luck is
like mine, the adapting plate wouldn't be the only thing that measured
differently: http://www.----------.com/TJwiperLinkage.jpg
