97 TJ/rear lights on always

97 TJ/rear lights on always
Shut the Jeep off and back lights are on as if the headlights are on!
In the past, I could mess with the flashers, blinkers and it would go
out. Not this time. HELP! Any links to diagrams would be helpful as
we're going to look at brake switch and connectors this weekend.

Brake light switch out of adjustment, usually done by car washes,
vacuuming under the pedal, getting the hose caught, and pulling the pedal up
too far, sliding the switch up and further away from contact.

Well, in 24 years of working on cars for a living, I've definitly seen
