97 tj probs, and some thanks!
Hi!
Well, after worsening oil pressure over time...after more and more blow by
as time goes on....the stupid 4 cylinder started dumping LOTS of antifreeze
into the oil. D*!M engine! Well, after looking all over the internet for a
good used engine (searched on car-part.com) I found out that apparently it
must be made of gold, so I settled on ordering a rebuilt (just a couple
hundred more than a low mileage engine..). I hope it comes in soon. Also
will replace the clutch since we are in there. Thanks everyone for all your
patience with questions over time. I hope..after installing this engine..I
won't have as many questions at least for a while! I'm chickening out on
this one. Although I have helped relatives (actually they helped me..)
install engines in their vehicles, I'm just getting too tired for this. I'm
getting a good mechanic to do this one!
Thanks to Bill for your help with the wobble.. Tires are good...NOTHING
loose in the steering anywhere (I had 2 mechanics check after me..) the
steering stabilizer STOPPED the problem.
