94XJ blow-by (again, I know)
 

I have decided I will fix this problem myself, being that I am a college
student money is a tight issue right now so I decided I will attempt to
repair this myself.

Here is an image of the engine:
94XJ SE 4.0L L-6

I have several questions, I am in no way all that engine savvy so I will be
wrong in some of my wording, and also this is an excuse for me to start
learning.

1. What are the part numbers/names of the circled items (the image link)
2. How do I remove the grommets?
3. Any recommended engine oil additives (brands?) to clean the engine?
Amount to put in (the additive)?
4. I use Mobile 1 Synth. should I change the oil to this one with the
additive or should I used a different one so I can flush the system at a
cheaper rate?
5. Anything else that I should check for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The front one turns I 'think', same for the rear one. Unlikely the
front one is plugged, but possible, if so you have some serious cleaning
issues.

Nope. Unless it is badly sludged up?

Why? Is the system badly sludged up?

Mobile is probably the best at cleaning it depending on how long that
back CCV grommet has been broken.

If it is in bad shape you will see the sludge pouring out with the oil
when changing it. If you look inside the oil filler cap how bad does it
look?

If it is in really bad shape you don't want to clean it out too fast,
too much junk gets circulated.

How much oil is blowing into the air filter?

I also think I noticed although it's blurry, the main ground strap from
the rear of your engine head to the firewall looking all frayed like it
was about to fall apart. That is the main body ground and needs to be
solid for good or any usually, running. They fail fast if frayed.

When I stick my finger in on all sides I pick up decenlty large amount of
sludge.

Not a whole bunch, but a fair amount
