Thanks Mike, I didn't know that. I'll have to see what the price is on the
kit. My friend usually does the test very cheaply for his customers, so I
didn't even think about the possibility of a DIY kit.

Yes, and didn't see it was the wrong side too. Your car's old
enough that if you didn't drain the block every couple of years the acid
would have eaten threw the core plugs, harder to see without actually
getting up on a rack:
