89 Comanche Interior Lights?
Recently Purchased a 89 comanche. Some jackass messed with the wiring, and I
have no interior lights. It is not the fuse, that I know. Any sugestions before I have to remove all of the interior. Patrick Ellis |

Hi Patrick,
Did you spin the light switch's knob to see if the last owner just disconnected the door buttons? Check to see if the door buttons are covered with a lever, a trick I use. Re: 89 Comanche Interior Lights?
If the 89 used the same lights as the 88 (likely) I would suspect the
light itself first. Mine has the long, narrow lights that rotate thru 3 positions by moving the lense - up, center, down. Up connects them to the door switch, center is always off, down is hot on. Inside is a cheesy switch that quits making contact when the pivots wear. I had to drill mine and put in steel pivot pins to get them to work.
