86 Jeep Cherokee next problem

Re: 86 Jeep Cherokee next problem
That sluggish pickup from idle could easily be a bad throttle position
sensor {TPS). I had a mid-80's Buick V-6 that had a similar problem
that went away after changing the TPS. Looking closely, there was a
dead spot on the TPS that wouldn't let me adjust the lower limit
properly. That one also needed the MAP sensor port cleaned out as
well, but I'm not sure if your's uses a MAP sensor. Worth a look-see.

book. Looks like they just bypassed it by connecting the two connectors
