Univac was 25 feet by 50 feet in length
Power demand was about 120 KVA
Core speed was 0.525 milliseconds for arithmetic functions,
2.15 Milliseconds for multiplication and
3.9 Milliseconds for division.
It costed $1,250,000 in 1951 dollars
Your basic desktop costs about $1500 and runs at 4+Ghz sucking down
a whopping 30-50 Watts
Then again if you have a collectable vintage 1966 auto it's probably
worth 30,000 at auction now. :)
I need more coffee.
