Re: '85 CJ7 Signal Problem
Heh! Success! There ended up being a wire that had a 90 degree connector on
it and I plugged the flasher unit into that and badabing! She works! Thank
you for all of your help and thanks alot for the wiring schematic! That will
likely come in handy again. I appreciate your help immensely!
Mike Romain, nice to see you are still around. I haven't been here in about
3 years since I sold my '88 YJ but you helped me alot with that old beast
back then and when I re-subscribed to this list I was hoping you'd still be
kickin around on here!
Cheers guys! Now I'm off to buy some tops for this baby.

Re: '85 CJ7 Signal Problem
Yup. Even tho this thing has half the engine the YJ had and it's primary
color is "rust red", it is a helluva lot funner Jeep already than the YJ.
Way easier to fix, alot easier to modify, and it's not my daily driver so I
don't have to baby it. Not to mention, it's almost all metal - no plastic
dash crap, etc. Can't wait for some better tires and some accessories.

Re: '85 CJ7 Signal Problem
Yup, I am still kicking more or less. A little more than less anyway.
I was a passenger in a passenger side T-bone hit in a car last year and
recovery has been long, painful and slow.... :-(
The Haynes manual has a perfect wiring schematic for the 85 CJ and only
costs twenty bucks or so. It also is accurate for anything mechanical I
have tackled so far.
