Please elaborate ...I'm curious. Is it the cold, the snow, or the type of
traction that's a problem?

They call lockers 'low side finders'. All paved roads have a center
crown to drain water off to the side. You do the math....

Ah, *that* issue ...well aware of that one. That's why I'd never ride with
full-time lockers as a daily-winter driver here, but I was thinking maybe
there was another more serious issue (effect of cold, snow traction, etc).

Re: 78 CJ-7
Hey mike, Greg on the west coast here, daughter and I went up for the
yearly boxing day run they have here, ( 250 - 300 vehicles ) got her detroit
installed but mine's still sitting on counter waiting to be installed.
Anyway last mile or so was on 1" of frozen snow, I kept having to slow down
to wait for her, I thought it was the Ebay $130.00 Cherokee between us, but
it was her, she didn't like her locker in snow, good thing it's only a once
or twice a year thing. Mine is not a daily driver like her's, so I'm not
worried, but at least she got to try it on snow off road before we get any
on road. I will have to go up there in a couple weeks when I get mone
installed just to see what she ( and you ) are talking about.
