I think it must be conditioning from when I was a kid. My mother was
divorced when I was quite young, and my useless dad never paid but $25 total
in child support. Anyway, we had an old baby blue Ford Falcon station wagon
that was one of the biggest POS's I can ever remember. Mom didn't have any
money back then, and did what she could to provide for us, but to this day I
associate baby blue with junky crap vehicles.

I think it must be conditioning from when I was a kid. My mother was
divorced when I was quite young, and my useless dad never paid but $25 total
in child support. Anyway, we had an old baby blue Ford Falcon station wagon
that was one of the biggest POS's I can ever remember. Mom didn't have any
money back then, and did what she could to provide for us, but to this day I
associate baby blue with junky crap vehicles.
