Sounds like you guys had a great adventure...thanks for sharing it with
us...Geeze, I haven't heard of Bon Echo since I was jus a wee tot, over 30
years ago...growing up in Ottawa I remember my parents talking about camping
on Bon Echo...there would have to be some half decent Trout to catch for my
Dad to camp there...was there??

Re: 5th Annual Canadian Bush (Ontario) RAMJ+W End of Summer Run Call!Trip Report.
Yes, there are Lake trout, a few Rainbow and Splake stocked into the
area lakes, but they are hard to catch. The trouble is keeping the Bass
off the line. The large mouth and small mouth Bass love worms and fight
ok, but trout taste way better....

Re: 5th Annual Canadian Bush (Ontario) RAMJ+W End of Summer Run Call!Trip Report.
Yes, there are Lake trout, a few Rainbow and Splake stocked into the
area lakes, but they are hard to catch. The trouble is keeping the Bass
off the line. The large mouth and small mouth Bass love worms and fight
ok, but trout taste way better....

Re: 5th Annual Canadian Bush (Ontario) RAMJ+W End of Summer Run Call!Trip Report.
Yes, there are Lake trout, a few Rainbow and Splake stocked into the
area lakes, but they are hard to catch. The trouble is keeping the Bass
off the line. The large mouth and small mouth Bass love worms and fight
ok, but trout taste way better....

area lakes, but they are hard to catch. The trouble is keeping the Bass
off the line. The large mouth and small mouth Bass love worms and fight
ok, but trout taste way better....

Sounds like they were drunk frenchmen out for a weekend of fun, I should see
if the wife's relatives were in that area..lol.
