Maybe he put the Mobil 1 in his radiator instead of the crankcase. ;)

I took it to mean that even with the added insurance of the syth., his
motor still crapped out. There are lemons in every marque. I believe in
syth. oil as a benefit.

Some of these people that use the higher grade oils believe they
may exceed the recommended oil change intervals. It's fairly easy to
change an engine every ten thousand miles and change the oil at the same
time.
