2005 Jeep Libby
Was just checking out the www.jeep.com site.. It comes with a 6 speed
transmission... But it doesn't say if it is a granny gear or not... Pretty
cool.. Although they still use the 8.25 rear diff...
Thought you guys might want to check it out..

Probably the same tranny as what's going in the TJ...

Hopefully DCX (which owns VM via Detroit Diesel) will offer a VM
retrofit package so TJs, and other Jeeps can get the VM electrodiesel.
Maybe a factory package will cut into Novak and Advance business and
punish them for having their heads up their ***.
