2004 TJ Soft Top Rub Problem

I have noticed my soft top is starting to get a "rug burn" from flapping
against the top rear edges of the speaker/light bar. I tried stuffing a
bag of Styrofoam peanuts between the top and the speaker/light housing.
This did not stay put. Any suggestions on how to stop this? I am
concerned that over time the top will be rubbed through.
