New Venture Gear Inc. Company Profile
A soon-to-be former subsidiary of
DaimlerChrysler, New Venture Gear is poised for
a new name and a new owner. The company
makes four-wheel-drive transfer cases,
transmissions, transaxles, and other driveline
products for the automotive industry. Current
New Venture Gear owner DaimlerChrysler and
Canadian auto parts giant Magna International
are forming a new joint venture called New
Process Gear, which will be the new name of the
company. Magna International will own 80% of
New Process Gear and DaimlerChrysler will
own 20% until 2007 when Magna will buy out
DaimlerChrysler's stake and take full control.

it (or saw a TSB for it) was for '00.

transmission.
