From what I understand not for 2". The only way to know for
sure is to lift the jeep by the frame and see if the shocks
limit downtravel. Just don't get them too long or you can bend
things with a hard landing

I ran with stock length shocks for a while with my ~2" spacers, but
they were definitely limiting downward travel. When I got the new
shocks, life was much better.

I currently have 2" spacers and didn't need new shocks. I would recommend
them if you're going to do any trail riding. *shrug* Would have made a
good difference.
No matter what they say, DON'T FORGET TO GET AN ALIGNMENT! Told me I didn't
need one. Oh yes you will.
