1997 ZJ Maintenance Items- What are the best brands?
Hello Group,
I am planning on having some maintenance work done on my 1997 Jeep Grand
Cherokee Limited. The Jeep is a daily driver with 94k miles on it. 5.2L V8
Engine.
I want to go ahead and replace the following items. Please give me your
opinions as to what the best brands are for the different items.
1. Shocks- I'm currently looking at the Doetsch Tech DT-3000 Shocks. Are
these a good overall non-gas shock?
2. Steering Stabilizer- Can anyone recommend a good one? I understand that
there is one by Old Man Emu that is pretty good. I believe Doetsch Tech also
makes one.
3. Spark Plugs- OEM or Aftermarket? Is Autolite a good brand? They seem to
have a good reputation and are very easy to find locally.
Are there any other items that I should be replacing at this mileage
(94k)??? All major fluids have been changed within the past 6k miles.
Thanks!
James
