I don't belive they every made a "Safari" editon Jeep.

there is no SAFARI edition.. local dealers could have added a sticker
package like the "BIGFOOT" editions and there are "RENEGADE" tj's floating
around but they were done from the dealer not the manufacture

Safari is a GM trademark (in the USA anyway) that has at least been used in
Chevys, GMCs and Pontiacs. I learned to drive in a Pontiac Safari station
wagon, nicknamed The Tank.
