SnoMan;

I have a 1951 CJ-2B. I had to rebuild the engine and while I had it
apart I sent the starter in for service. Someone had converted it to key
start and all the old kick start parts are gone. The service station
threw away the electric start parts and now I have a problem.
No one seems to know how to rebuild the startes for key start anymore
and I can't find any information on the original starter parts.
Can you give me any information or even pictures of what I need and how
it is mounted on the jeep.

I have manuals here that go back to 59 on jeeps and covers both 134's.
It says it could have two starter styles. I do have access to even
older manuals. It would help if I had a picture of what we were
dealing with.
