12v heaters
My heater fan assembly doesn't work. Rather than wade in and try to
figure it out and fix it, I've seen those 12v ceramic heaters that
plug into the cigarette lighter, for about $20. I was wondering if
anyone has experience with these... do they work as advertised?

Not well enough to heat a vehicle on a cold day.
That and it's a great way to melt things and start fires.
What model of Jeep? Sometimes it's an easy fix.

Re: 12v heaters
They put a big load on the alternator and battery for starters and
cannot keep up to the cold if the vehicle is moving.
What Jeep, the fans are usually an easy fix.
