Could you explain what a flasher has to do with fog lights?

Re: 05 wrangler fog lights?? HELP
FOg lights worked fine, but the turn signals did not. The new switch that
comes with the fog light kit did not have a flashed on it. This is the
switch where the fog lights are on the headlamp switch. Not the rocker
style.

you popped the electroin flasher loose from the bac of the multi function switch
when you put the covers bac on the steering wheel??

you have to take the little black box off the first switch and install it on the
new switch for the blinkers to work
