tailgate lock
does anyone know of a way to disable the automatic locking system on the tailgate of an 06 liberty?
I paid the dealer to disable the auto lock on the doors but they tell me the auto lock (tailgate locks whenever you move) on the tailgate can't be unprogramed

I also read somewhere that if you have a starting problem,there is a way to get it going by cycling the tailgate lock...I'll try and find out exactly what I mean...I'll get back to you.
Why do you want to disable the tailgate lock for anyway?worst case keep a spare key on ya.
