Power outlet not working

Default Power outlet not working

Hey guys. New owner, first post.

the power outlet on the dash doesnt appear to be working. if i hold it just so it will, but cant drive like that. just wondering what the process is and how difficult it is to get into the dash and replace it. now repair book for it yet.

If it works by holding it, would it be your adapter that might be loose a bit? I would try to extract a little more the metal plates on each side of your adapter and maybe try a different adapter before trying to change the outlet.

remember that this jeep has a second outlet in the cargo area. it works fine. its the outlet not the device im plugging in.
