Default is it possible to siphen gas from my liberty

As I mentioned, I put unleaded in my crd, and am trying to get the gas from the tank without dropping the tank. I am unable to put the hose through the gas intake. Is there a trick? Any ideas or am I going to have to drop the tank.

I'm having a few problems with my beloved CRD, perhaps someone has experienced this before. I began to notice a wind noise that was intermittent but especially noticeable when I pressed the accelerator. The tachometer showed the engine surging/reving but it felt like I was losing power. The check engine has come on and now I have a heavy black soot coming out of the exhaust. Is this the EGR Valve? Thanks,

I have a 2006 Liberty, I get about 350km to a tank in the city in 2wd and no horse play. I have no odd bangs, but I get a mild accel surge if I am driving below 30kph. If this comparison helps I am glad. On another note I am looking for tailights to start dressing up my lil' lady, so any info on that subject would be nice.
