Use a hair dryer or heat gun (results will vary) to "carefully" soften the adhesive, work a piece of dental floss in between badge and the paint surface. Done :)

The above works very well, though I found after doing a few letters I didn't really even have to heat them, I just worked an old credit card inbetween the badge and panel to lift the badge and then peeled it away. Used some goo gone / water & soap to remove any left over adheasive.

Debadged and replaced with custom decals
