I just gotta wonder how wide------ this problem really is. I'm not saying it's not a problem or doesn't exist. But, we personally have 3 JKs an 07 2dr, 08 4dr, and 09 2dr. Not one of these has or has had a leak problem with either the hardtops or softtops. There is also a Jeep group in our area who meet a couple of times a year and out of the 5 jks there I have yet to hear of a problem. So is this a situation where a number of tops or panels may be warped causing leaks. Maybe the only solution to the leaky top is a new top or panels instead of just changing seals .

yes i take it serious ,the jeep was not 14 or 18 thousand,no breaks no give aways and leaks from the roof i can understand(no gutters) but when its coming in from the sides sitting in the driveway thats different and yes its a jeep and if i soak it thats my business
but it leaks and there is a wide------ problem(they have a 10 page doc showing how to diagnose it)
It was the same when i got the paint protection 345.00 and then a rust spot showed up and that saying īts a jeep",well, then they should have said don't apply the paint protect you're wasting your money and our time.
This is a fun vehicle to me and i want the best out of it and i don't want smelly floor mats

Hey I agree with you.
So your leak is coming from the seal between roof and doors, or body/windshield frame and doors? Does it also leak with the softtop on.
I can only suggest that its a door adjustment perhaps or the windshield was not tightened in the correct position from factory ?

I was at the dealership yesterday for 2 new door seals ,and it was pointed out that the seals have been modified for the jeep as chrysler felt the door seals were the path of the water flowing slowly inside on the floor.
Hope this helps

Hey all!! Well, I got my Jeep a little over a year ago. It is a hard top Wrangler 2010. This is my 4th Jeep ( I seem to always return to them LOL).

I found very wet (see soaking) floor and floor mats - both the passenger and driver sides. I brought it to the dealer 3 times for this very problem. They changed all the seals around top and doors. A few days later, it was wet again. Brought it back to the dealer - they had a water specialist and, apparently, he didn't find any problems....

Moved to Quebec from BC earlier this year. It's now the rainy season (fall) and it's raining. It doesn't appear to leak while I'm driving, but leaks 'big time' when it sits in my driveway. This time, the passenger side is dry, but the driver side mats are soaked - I lifted the carpet and there's a pool of water! I took a look at the pics of the seams at the bottom of doors and added some waterproof silicone. We'll see what that does and get back on here.

This is a real pain - the dealer and Chrysler are both washing their hands of this and it aggravates me to no end. More to follow.

Mine is still leaking. Door seals have been replaced. It looks like the water is comming from the fire wall; upper right corner. But where? The dealer just shrugs there shoulders. I will be taking it back next week; but i'm not hopefull.

I bought a 2011 wrangler one year ago, just brought it back from the dealership today, which is an hour and a half away...for the THIRD time, just wont stop leaking whenever we have heavy rains and snow...they keep on repairing...but what happens when the warranty runs out??...seems to me they are,,most of them built defective
