Default Wheel spacers

Thinking of putting wheel spacers on the jeep. It's stock wheels and suspension. Just the Sahara 18 inch wheels. What do u think? Any disadvantages? Any risk of anything? Will the ride be the same better or worse? And what make of spacers are good? Any advice would be great, thanks guys!

Wheel spacers will increase the load on the wheel bearings and also increase the scrub angle on the steering which will cause more of a tendency for bump steer.

Little confusion here, why do you need spacers to put on stock Sahara 18"ers? They fit all models without any need for them. Going with a way wider tire?

you could buy offset rims... then you wouldn't need spacers...

I installed 1.5" hub centric wheel spacers on my JK, The stance looked great, I had lots of positive comments, but took them off, I couldn't stand the flicks and water the tires threw up on the jeep, I was constantly using my wipers and couldn't keep the jeep clean, The mirrors and door handles were always covered in crap. Climbing in the jeep I always got messy.

Maybe I will install them in the summer when the roads are clear, and it's not so cold out for cleanup. I will keep my winter/off road wheel setup inside the fender flairs. If you don't mind mud, salt spray, and constantly using wipers to clear your windows go for it the stance looks good!

agreed, the salt/mud/water spray tends to get a little annoying especially if u have doors or top off. also tends to be a little more harder on the wheel bearings.
but with that being said...It does look better!
