i have a 09 wrangler rubicon automatic and love it!!, the plan was to have it forever and build it up true the years and have it in the future as my off road toy!.. dealerships been emailing and calling to see if i wanted to trade in for a 2012 for awhile. so I'm going in on sunday to see what kinda deal there going to offer me ( going to have to be pretty good lol ). Not sure if i wanna do it yet depends on the deal, if i do i want another rubicon same as the one i have now i just like the new interior and engine .
my questions is has anyone done this there selfs and how was the deal and was it worth it ??
you 2012 owners how do you find the new engine is gas millage better (not that it really matters lol ) but like to know
any info would be good, cuz i really not sure if i wanna give up my baby haha

 

I'm a first time JEEP owner, bought a 2012 Sahara Unlimited.
I LOVE it!! We're going out together for Valentine's day!!lol.

The gas mileage is ok, I get about 450 km per tank. Dash read 13.8 / 100 km.
Oh and I do have the tow package, so the gearing ratio would be closer to the Rubicon than the standard.

 

This may be the time to trade in as they now have $2000 consumer cash.

 

Any problems with your Jeep? I would keep it your going to losea lot of money and I don't get why all the hype with the new 3.6L Jeeps don't need all that power it's your call in the end I would just stick with what you have.

Looks like NO Programmers in the future for 2011+. I personally cancelled my 2012 Ruby order. Love my 08 its a totally different animal with a programer.....

 

thanks all i got a good deal on the 2012 but at the end of the deal i was more sad that i was giving up my 09 .. so I'm keeping the 09 building it up peace by peace. maybe ill buy a new jeep in the future when the one i have is just for off road only lol
