Default solution for my dog

Anyone out there find a solution for cargo netting in an unlimited that won't lay on the roll bars? I have an English Mastiff and hes so tall that the angle of the bars means he can't stand up properly. I'm curious if anyone has come across this same issue and if there are any solutions out there. Same issue takes away storage space for camping gear with the frameless soft tops too.
thanks

wow them be big dogs! I'd love to see a picture of him (even tho it's off topic)

I know the 2 door would probably give enough room maybe.

The 4 door is pretty tight back there without the seats flipped or moved out the way.

Definitely a pickle.. Only thing I can think of is to put on a soft top or a hard top, some how you need a frame or something, hope you find a solution.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. I can modify the rear section and attach it to the top bar of the soft top so Vader can't get out but he'll still have lots of room. It's that damn angle of the bars. It looks super cool but it costs so much space. Thanks Junkie

OK! I've been racking my brain around this idea, I've come up with 2 solutions!

Solution #1 http://www.actioncamper.com/events/00054/v013.jpg
Turn your jeep into a camper and he can do whatever he wants back there! Tons of space! (i beleive it deletes your back seats though)

Solution #2 (sorry about the crude drawing I did it on my phone)

Build a removable frame! Now I'm not sure if you have a hard top or a soft top or both. But I know the hard top has small threaded "plates". I know the 2 door version has 3 holes on each side to mount the hard top to, so in the idea note I made the red bars are the main frame the green bars is for if the 4 door has the extra mount in the middle (yes i am aware i drew a 2 door but the idea is there) Using the hard top mount screws just bolt the bars down (bottom picture) having flat peices of metal with holes in them to secure it to the tub on the vehicle. Finally put on removable felts for the top or screw them straight into the steel if you want to make holes and give the puppy some shade, or just drape a cargo net over the entire thing and look like a bad ***.

Just my dollar fifty.
