I have an 09 for a little over a month. Love it but it's the first stick in many years. It feels like it clicks into every gear and is worse when it's cold. Wondering if its normal.

 

meh... take it in and have it looked at ... its not costing you anything

 

I had that trouble with my '08 also. Stiff shifting and hard to get it in gear or even miss the shift slot completely. I have to laugh about it when I tell my friends that all it takes is time and wearing off the gears a bit. Ha ha! Guess what? It has absolutely done just that. Now I have put 10,000K on it, it's a whole lot better in just six months or so. Now I'm going to change out the oil soon and inspect for bits. I don't expect anything odd though.
