Unhappy seats

Hi everyone,
I have a real problem.
My son seems to have out grown his jeep, no really. He's 21 years old and is 6'4'' tall.
the other day we were out in his JK when I noticed how close the back of his head was to the roll bar!

My question is guys, ''Are there any replacement seats on the after market that would place him lower in the Jk''?

he really loves his jeep and it would be a shame to have to sell it.

Adjust the seat more? My son is 6'-9" and has no problems driving his cousin's JK. If it's a problem check and see if you can lower the seat bracket. There are aftermarket seats but without actually sitting in them you may not be getting rid of the problem. In the meantime get some extra padding for the roll bar.

he doesn't have trouble driving the jeep.

it's a safety issue, (mainly for us his parents) the back of his head would most likely hit the roll bar if in an accident.

I would like to some how remove the chances of this happening.

Do you mean that his head doesn't contact the headrest ?????

I'm 6'4" and I have a 5-pt harness bar, so my drivers seat can't go all the way back, but

I have the seat forward and tilted so my knees are higher and I'm in total comfort !!

All you gotta do is play with the seat adjustments !!

As I said before, adjust the seat (and pedals if you have this option) and put some more padding on the rollbar, either that or check out something in aftermarket seats that have a higher back. I think Corbeau has all their seat sizes listed on the website.

Hi guys,
I have fabricated new seat brackets for my son's JK.
I moved the seat down 2.5 inches and back 2 inches.
Also I had to raise his head rest 2 inches.

pictures are attached for those tall guys that might be interested.
