Hi Everyone,

I am new to the jeep world and new to the forum. I just bought a 2011 JK Unlimited in March and had to have half doors. I ordered them from Stan at Northridge 4X4 (A pleasure to do business with I would highly recommend them for anything you need plus free shipping). I thought you all may be interested in my opinion on them. Overall I think they are a good product for the price (all 4 for 1799.95 shipped). The fit was pretty good and everything I expected was in the boxes. The only minor complaint I would have is the latches are a little stiff to open from the inside but nothing serious. I have attached some pics for you all to look at. Let me know what you all think. My wife suggests I leave them flat black but I am wanting to paint them. Probably because she doesn't want me to spend anymore money. I would be interested to hear any comments. The uppers are on there way so I can post some pics of those installed when I get them if anyone is interested.

Did you have any installation or fit problems? What about mirrors?

Did you get a better price at Northridge vs JustJeeps?

Would love a coupla pics of interior view of the half doors. If ya can.

I really didn't have any install problems, they seem to line up ok. I left the hinges loose and installed the doors, lined them up and tightned down the hinges. Everyone has different expectations so I will post pics once I get them back from the paint shop(I decided to go with paint, as suggested it is Father's Day!). I will also snap some pics of the uppers when they arrive sometime next week and I get them installed. As for mirrors you can get RR mirrors for about $200 but I decided where I am going to have them on until it get cold (October ish) I will probably just swap out the factory mirrors and use them (just a couple of bolts. I made a cheap wall hanger to store my factory doors on for the winter if your interested in the plans let me know. I also built a hardtop dolly for winter storage that is excellent and have the plans for that as well. As for Northridge vs Just Jeeps I don't know what to tell you as I have never dealt with them. Northridge charged me 1799.95 for all four half doors so you can compare from that. I would highly recommend Northridge as there custumer service is second to none and Stan at Northridge in Canada can get you anything that is on their US website and you can get the canadian price from him. He is charging me $340 a pair for the uppers.

Yea! I love them too! I dropped them off at the paint shop this morning. Thanks for giving me the push, as you said it is Father's Day! Ha!

Amazing how doors can change the look and function of a Jeep, i really like the look of them, and theirm function too! Great choice, and ya' good call on painting them!!
